On the 5th, Nathaniel had his adenoids burned out and had a second set of tubes put in. Here he is prior to surgery, comforted by his Nemo fish!
He had a really rough time coming out of surgery. He flailed around like a bucking bronco...it broke my heart. He was pretty out of it until about 2:00 that afternoon and was a huge grouch the rest of the day. Thankfully my parents were in town and helped entertain him. Saturday was better, he would be happy and playing fine one minute and on the floor throwing a fit the next. But the biggest challenge came on Sunday, he woke up at 3 and did not go back to sleep until 9:30 am. We watched Nemo several times in those wee morning hours! He is getting better day by day and I am praying this is the final ear surgery....surgery ever for that matter!
