2nd Birthday Fun

Warning: Photo overdose to follow!

Nate had a wonderful 2nd birthday surrounded by friends and family.

He woke up in a great mood!

Disney was kind enough to sponsor a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Marathon for his birthday (it is his favorite show).
He had a birthday biscuit breakfast, complete with extra jelly!

Then we were off to Bayou Wildlife Park.
First stop...the petting zoo.
As Cole was loving the goats, Brandon's shirt became one goat's snack!
We LOVE this place, we got so see all kinds of animals on the tram ride.
If that does not say "Happy Birthday", I don't know what does.

Friends aboard the tram. Cousin "Ry-Ry" petting the camel.

This camel was one of Nathaniel's favorites this time. Another one slobbered all over his head. Nathaniel was not as bothered as Mommy was by this!
Nate's buddy, Landon, had no fear feeding the animals!
Isaiah warmed up to the animals. The Obert girls also got in on the action.
After the ride we shared a lunch with everyone, including one special deer!
Then it was time for cake (well, cupcakes covered with a TON of frosting). Nate was pretty shy when everyone was singing to him.

But none too shy with devouring his cupcake!
Then off to the stables....
Ry-Ry petting one of the "ponies"
Our little cowboy!
He was much braver than last time we went and seemed to enjoy the pony ride!
As did his friends, here are Abby and Landon.
He gave some friends hugs and we headed home.
Here are Aunt "Oh-la-la" and Emma rocking out on Guitar Hero as Nate took a long nap.

He woke up to find all kinds of people he loves waiting to celebrate with him. Here he is with Granny ("Ne-Ne") and Gram Aunt (who he recently started calling "Damn-It").
One spoiled kid!
Cake #2 (he has not let the Nemo and Dory go since he got them). Please note his little finger already getting into the frosting before we could sing.
If a spoon-full of sugar helps the medicine go down, then he should easily take medicine for the next 10 years as much sugar as he had today. This is a picture of him eating straight frosting!
Enjoying the bubbles his cousin got him for his birthday.
Then bath, brush teeth, prayers, and off to bed.
This was such a fun day. Thanks to everyone who joined in the fun and celebrated the life of our little guy with us. We love you all!
