Disney Cruise: Day 7 (Key West, FL)

Key West, FL

Our final stop before heading home was Key West.  Our first port adventure there was an amazing butterfly garden.  There were thousands of butterflies flying around this little luscious garden, I could have spent an entire day in there.

They said if a butterfly lands on you it is good luck.  Mommy, Uncle Anson, and Marissa must be pretty lucky if that is true!

Then we headed to an aquarium.  Nathaniel really enjoyed the touch tank, especially getting to see a horseshoe crab (we frequently read a Dr. Suess book that talks about horseshoe crabs).

Then we went and walked around a little shopping center, we stumbled upon a great little shop that doubled as a hands on wilderness experience and a ministry area.  All the kids really enjoyed holding the birds.

Then we all got caught in what they say was the worst rainfall Key West had in years.  Luckily we we finally got back on our floating refuge after a few hurdles!  And spent a lot of time relaxing in our favorite spot....

On the same deck as the big windows with mats, were some man hole covers.
Nathaniel really took a liking to this particular one, dubbing it the largest coin in the world!
